Dobinsons Tubular Upper Control Arms are fabricated from 35, 36 & 38mm Chrome Moly Tubing & 5mm thick walls, for increased strength, longevity and reliability.
When raising an IFS (Independent Front Suspension) vehicle s front suspension beyond 2 inches, the wheel alignment geometry intercepts, preventing the completion of an accurate wheel alignment. With these Dobinsons control arms, they are manufactured with increased camber and up to a 3 of increased caster, allowing accurate wheel alignments on larger lifted vehicles.
When installing a Ford Ranger PX3 Lift kit, your vehicle needs extra support components to highlight the ride quality, rather than conceal it, and these upper control arms are made for that very purpose. Upper Control arms also allow for the best camber and castor which means bigger wheels and tyres 😉
